Parish School of Religion (PSR) 2022-2023

Unless other wise noted in the bulletin or on the calendar, the schedule for the PSR is as follows:
First Sunday of each month -  9:30 am until 10:45 am - Whole Family & Preschool Session
Last Sunday of each month - 9:30 am until 10:45 am - Whole Family Session (No separate Preschool Session)
Sundays in between -  9:30 am until 10:45 am -  Traditional (Grade Level) Sessions

PSR Special Events (All Saints Party, etc.) will be held after the 11:00 Mass instead of at the regular PSR hour.  See the documents below for the PSR Calendar and all things Parish School of Religion 2022-2023.
 

Sacramental Prep and Celebration

Our students in Grade 2 prepare for and celebrate their First Reconciliation in the first half of the school year and prepare and celebrate their First Communion in the last half of the year.
Confirmation Prep takes place with students in Grades 7 & 8 (a combined class) and Confirmation is celebrated in the spring. 

Working with the children and young people of our parish in any capacity, and keeping them safe from any kind of trauma or harm, is taken very seriously. It is in that spirit that it is the Pastor (or the PSR Coordinator, with the approval of the Pastor) who invites a person to work with children.  If you are interested in working with children, you are welcome to let either of them know of your desire to be considered for a position.  We welcome parents and grandparents to assist, especially with Vacation Bible School, as a way for the pastor and established volunteers to get to know you personally.
